This is one of my favorite interviews of all. At one point in the interview we were all tearing up, because we can all empathize with having to overcome great odds to reach our dream or goal. I have learned that there is a subtle science to being an interviewer who is aware of and can cultivate an atmosphere of respect and sense of welcome. Creating safe places allows people to feel comfortable enough to be open and share their story. I was honored to hear how this amazing cast bonded and nurtured their amazing chemistry.
